Oil and Human Rights Maps (website)

This webpage has a series of ten maps depicting the geography of oil and conflict in Sudan. Among the maps are a map of tribal divisions in Southern Sudan, an updated map with the official regions of Sudan post-1994 and satellite images of the oil fires in late 1999 and 2000 on which individual homes and other structures, roads, and vegetation can clearly be seen.
